Attack against Libya – Political Realism or just a filthy and disgusting way of doing politics ?

Faced with a serious drop in the eyes of French, President Nicholas Sarkozy felt the need to pretend to be the leader of anti-Gadhafi coalition. Of course, it will not restore the population’s sympathy.

But, I don′t understand how is possible as high  world leaders to not realize that are sad pathetic and ridiculous

French President Nicolas Sarkozy, left, welcomes United Arab Emirates' Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan for a crisis summit on Libya at the Elysee Palace in Paris, Saturday, March, 19, 2011. World leaders met Saturday in a summit in Paris that could be the final step before immediate international military action against Moammar Gadhafi's forces in Libya.

with a coalition leader who became president on Gadhafi‘s money. Also who was charged of leading nuclear business with the same dictator, on the issue of Bulgarian nurses. More, I don′t even bother to explain why juridic an interference with glitter of democracy is still illegal.

But I would like to mention some questions to which Mr Sarkozy has not responded, even if he was quick to recognize, wrongly again, a gang  by rebels as political interlocutor. Who are these rebels ? How are they ? What percentage of the population of Libya are they ? How many international observers in Libya last month ? What future strategy supporting these rebels ? It seems to me that the rebels aren′t some geniuses worthy of the  Peace Nobel Prize or some top leaders of human rights…

Let us be clear: Gadhafi is a dictator. But is a dictator who was  tolerated as long as it was useful. Functional hypocrisy… Some call it Political Realism. I think it’s just filthy and disgusting way of doing politics. We see that in the forefront of anti-Gadhafi coalition are  leaders (US, UK, France, Italy) who have just spoked «Gadhafi must go» at the beginning of the uprising Libyan. For they, Gadhafi’s staying in power means Goodbye to Libyan oil. For they is an urgent need the tyrant Gadhafi to emerge from the world political picture. What price ? The price paid by the public ? Or oil prices ? We’ll see.😀 As we have already seen what happiness  was and is in Iraq after Saddam‘s removal from the scene !!

  1. Sorry, but I think you need to get rid of the huge chip on your shoulder and see life as it really is. You are entitled to your views, as is anyone else, but you seem to think this whole episode it everyone’s fault except Gadaffi. I suppose you would stand on the sideline and cheer as Gadaffi massacres the people of Benghazi because they had the sheer gall to oppose him and his rule. There comes a time in every dictators life when he must step aside, and now it his turn.

  2. Do not say that Gadhafi is good. More, is not about Gadhafi…I speak about the truth …I speak of a miserably way by world politics is made. And I suggest a list of UN resolutions on Darfur, Somalia, Ethiopia, Cambodia, North Korea … And there are people killed every day by oppressive regimes…😀
    So…??

  3. I like it :Attack against Libya – Political Realism or just a sinister and nauseous way of doing politics ? This is going to come back to haunt us sooner than later ? Why cant we just stay out of other Countries business ? We are already stuck in Iraq and Afghanistan, did we really need this ?

  4. Mr. President, Nobel Peace Price would like to say hello !!

  5. The fall of Hosni Mubarak had been called on from Al-Qaeda’s number two, Ayman al-Zawahiri, since the ninety’s, and echoed through the ranks. With the impending spring offensive from the Taliban approaching in Afghanistan and turmoil fluttering through out the Arab world, a new fighter joins the ranks in the war on terror.

  6. I think it is too early for anyone on this board to support or to denounce Obama’s action. If u speak too soon, u have not studied carefully. I did not vote 4 Obama but I will give him qualified support for what he did today. NATO, UK or France would not have done anything without the US lead. Everyone knows that. Whether or not he escalate the war, we just have to wait & see. When u open your mouth too early, u do more harm than good.

  7. A nearly insignificant faction, the National Front for the Salvation of Libya (NFSL), has long been run by the CIA. Oh, and don’t forget the various Islamic groups, as well as the shadowy al-Qaeda franchise. Here’s a comprehensive list of Libyan opposition groups – which ones do we support, and which ones are the Bad Guys ? We cannot have the ability to know.

  8. I hope for the lybian people both NATO actions as well as Opossition fighters as well as the citizen targeted actions by Ghadaffi’s troops will stop hostilities at once. But something tells me, none will stop. The things will run worst…Very sad for the people in the cities where these fights will continue.

  9. All of this about oil…War is an instrument entirely inefficient toward redressing wrong; and multiplies, instead of indemnifying losses.
